For most people queer culture only exists in an urban realm. On the contrary we have the countryside, a space which for a lot of people in the queer community is filled with lots of pain and trauma. The two channel installation „A Queer Space“ is rethinking that idea and brings queerness and the rural life together. These rural areas are shown as queer spaces and at the same time the installation itself is creating a queer space through its spacial construction.
