Moving Image in Club Context
WorkshopIn this workshop the students created and realised visuals for the event „Blaenk
Nights“ at OHM/Tresor on April 26, 2018.
They examined different possibilities how electronic music can be interpreted into video images, abstract or generated loops. The students realized one video for one music track. Topic and storyline was free choice. The main focus was on music editing and how the video works in the special context of a club. The music of the videos was created by different DJs and producers of the international club scene.
Dorothee von Winning is a film maker, works for TV channels as NDR and ARTE and is part of the DJ-team Blaenk Minds which creates video programs for club nights worldwide.
